In a van down by the river
Is anyone here familiar with using Plex with NextDNS and can walk me through how to setup NextDNS so I can access get remote access to my Plex server?

I was using Tailscale for remote access and until the last few days, it was working fine. Tailscale made some new changes and now I can't remote access my Plex Server, which is being run from my Synology NAS. Tailscale worked great because it didn't require me to do any port forwarding, which I can't do given I have a double NAT setup with AT&T fiber.

I am willing to pay for someone's time to help me, if needed.

Thanks.

Have you considered other mesh-type networks such as MeshNet or ZeroTier?

I'm not familiar with AT&T fiber but is there any way to put the AT&T modem/router into bridge mode or use the fiber cable in your personal router?

Thanks for the reply. I am looking at Meshnet right now and not seeing an app for it to use with my Plex server on my Synology NAS.

What about using a VPN protocol to access the NAS such as Wireguard? It's free and quite good as long as you have the necessary equipment in place.

I use ControlD as a custom DNS for network-wide filtering and remotely access my NAS over Wireguard.
